How To Get The Most Out Of Any Verse In The Bible?

You have the opportunity to gain greater insight into the mind of the author of the bible by simply asking additional questions about the verses you read in the bible (1 Corinthians 2:15-16).

Let’s take the verse below…

Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

You should first restate in your mind what is your Basic Understanding of the verse as it is written.

Basic Understanding – Because I read the chapter in sequence and context, I know that those days means the days just before Yeshua/Jesus’ return.  The shortening of those days is required to keep all flesh from being killed.  This means that Yeshua/Jesus will come before additional atrocities (i.e., murders) can be carried out on the inhabitants of the earth.  Flesh is referencing ALL people of the earth (godly and ungodly) and potentially even animals.  The elect are the saints that Yeshua/Jesus has chosen in the harvest that have either lived or died in Messiah.

The Basic Understanding is what a majority of readers would come away with after reading the verse.

But, is there more to the verse than the Basic Understanding?  YES, much more…

Before proceeding, consider this fact; your Basic Understanding is the foundation of this form of study.  If it is not very good, then the subsequent phases will also be impaired.

Conversely, if your Basic Understanding is exceedingly thorough, then you will find the subsequent phases much more enriching.

Tip:  If you fear your Basic Understanding may not be up to par, I suggest that you consider reviewing notes on the particular verse from bible study repositories.  These sources can be extremely helpful, but always make sure their understanding does not contradict with any other verses.

 Now, let’s go deeper…

From Observation To Meditation -- A Bible Study Method

To get a deeper understanding of each verse in the bible and therefore increase your understanding of the word of God, you should ask additional questions of each verse beyond the Basic Understanding.  You do this by breaking down the different elements that make up your Basic Understanding.

Let’s look at this lesson’s Basic Understanding again, but this time in its various elements:

  1. Those days means the days just before Yeshua/Jesus’ return.
  2. The shortening of those days is required to keep all flesh from being killed.  This means that Yeshua/Jesus will come before additional atrocities (i.e., murders) can be carried out on the inhabitants of the earth.
  3. Flesh is referencing ALL people of the earth (godly and ungodly) and potentially even animals.
  4. The elect are the saints that Yeshua/Jesus has chosen in the harvest that either lived or died in Messiah.  For their sake, means their benefit.

For each element in your Basic Understanding, you can ask the following questions OR you can apply the questions to the entire Basic Understanding.  For simplicity, this lesson uses the latter approach. (Note: Some questions may not be applicable to all verses.)

  1. Who is the statement about?
  2. Why is the statement being made?
  3. What is the implication of the verse or statement (meditate on what is happening consider other bible verses to support you)?
  4. When is the statement (past, present, future)?
  5. How?
  6. Where?
  7. Finally, based on the results, ask all or some of the questions above again until you are satisfied

Let’s look at the Basic Understanding and apply the questions above to see what else can be learned.

1. Who is the statement about?

Yeshua/Jesus, flesh on the earth, the elect, AND the ungodly principality that planned to kill all flesh.

Note:  The last who is not stated, but you are required to try to identify all persons, beings, or principalities in a statement even if they are not directly mentioned.  This will take some practice.  You know there is another power or principality AND it is ungodly, because Yeshua/Jesus has to stop it.

2. Why is the statement being made?

It is informing the reader that if Yeshua/Jesus delays his return, then all flesh will be killed, and there would be some kind of negative outcome for the elect.

3. What is the implication (remember to ponder)?

By Yeshua/Jesus coming back and shortening those days, he will keep all flesh from being killed.  The implication is that if he does not come back, some power or authority outside of his will plans to kill all flesh.

Also, if all flesh is killed then the elect will not have any people to rule prior to the 2nd resurrection (Revelation 2:26).  The 2nd resurrection (Revelation 20:12) is not until just before the New Earth (Revelation 21:1).

Also, there is a possibility that all flesh would be killed by destroying the earth (Revelation 11:18) which could accomplish at least 1 major thing that Satan would just love -- break the covenant that God has with David (Jeremiah 33:20-21)!

  • Jeremiah 33:20-21Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; 21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
  • Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
  • Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

4. When is the statement?

This verse is about the time just before Yeshua/Jesus returns to gather his elect.  It is also the time just before the 1,000 year reign.  It is also the time of Iron and Clay, which is the foundation of the statue in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Daniel 2:33-34).  We are living in this time.

5. How?

Yeshua/Jesus will come on a cloud of glory with the voice of an archangel (1 Thessalonians 4:16), and will gather his elect both alive and dead.  He will then make war with the beast and the false prophet and their armies, and vanquish them before all flesh is killed (Revelation 19:11-21).

6. Where?

The whole earth is the focus of this verse.

7. More Question Examples

Why does this ungodly power want to kill all flesh?  How does the power want to destroy all flesh?  Why couldn’t Yeshua/Jesus just resurrect some of the dead or just restore the earth for the elect?  How would all people being killed or the earth being destroyed affect the prophecies in Revelation that came directly from God?  What will the elect do during and just after the 1,000 year reign?

Practice

Here are some suggested verses you can try the tool on (emphasis added)…

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus Messiah

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus is the spirit of prophecy

Conclusion:

This tool is being offered as a way for the Disciple to better understand God’s word, and as a way to improve their ability to discern.  The expectation is that after using it a few times, you will be able to internalize the approach and apply it in the future WITHOUT having to write anything down if you do not desire.

Finally, read the bible slowly.  You do not want to rush as this may impede your understanding.  You do not have to finish that chapter today, if a verse or subject sparked your interest...

Ponder upon it, as Sir Isaac Newton pondered on the apple that fell from the tree. He was able to begin a new line of thought on gravity...

How can you bring more understanding of God to the body of Messiah through your meditation on the word? Ponder...

Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Tips On Studying The Word Of God

Table Of Contents

  • MOST IMPORTANT: No matter how hard a verse or subject is to understand, even when it may be unsettling to you as some verses in the Old Testament have been known to be, always, give God the benefit of the doubt – always!  Give it time, make sure you understand the context, ask God for guidance, but know that it is true and righteous.
  • It is also important to understand that no bible translation is perfect (see point below).  I have found errors in KJV, BUT it also, in my opinion, does the best job conveying the vast majority of God's message in "proper" context.  However, if you find that you are having trouble with a passage, it could very well be that the translation you are reading is in error.  Discovering this is not usually easy for everyone, but nevertheless, if something seems unsettling to you, this could be the reason why.  Do not however, "only" just read a more contemporary version (i.e., the Message or NIV), without first looking at the original language (Hebrew or Greek).  After you have seen the original language (using tools below), compare to see which translation does the best job (try BibleGateway's -- Add Parallel tool).  You will find this approach can reconcile many issues with passages that seem contradictory or out of context.
  • Use the old KJV and even better, start to learn some Hebrew and Greek.  Think about purchasing a Strong’s Concordance, and if possible an Interlinear Bible (Hebrew and Greek/Hebrew).  Satan will continue to change the bibles beyond recognition. See websites https://www.e-sword.net/ OR https://www.blueletterbible.org/ for advanced translation tools.
  • Consider at a minimum taking a class in learning the Hebrew alphabet and numbers associated with each letter.  There is wisdom in the Hebrew letters and numbers.  Important: Know the difference between final form letters and the “different” numerical values associated with them.  See Revelation 13:18.
  • Once you have become efficient with the tool, consider laying on your bed and pondering upon verses or subjects, and see what happens.  One of your goals should be to learn how to meditate on the word like David meditated.
  • Psalm 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
  • Read bible notes and cross references (however, never allow someone to discern for you).
  • Consider listening to the KJV on audio while relaxing.  You will be surprised what you hear even if you are not paying close attention.  It can also give your eyes a break.  Try using the free Apps, Youversion.com or Biblegateway.com for your smart phone or on your computer.
  • Learn prophecy and know the definition of a saint.  Rev. 12:17/19:10 and Revelation 14:12
  • Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus Messiah.
  • Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
  • Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yeshua/Jesus.
  • Learn how to read Paul’s writings (his writings agree with James and John, and the others as well).  Some find his words confusing, and consequently, misinterpret them…
  • 2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
  • Remember, there can be duality in prophecy where the same symbol can mean more than one thing.  For example, in the books of Daniel and Revelation, a beast can mean a king and a kingdom.
  • Know that God’s law cannot save you (only Yeshua/Jesus can), but it can help you to learn more about his ways and how he thinks (i.e., Psalms 119:93/100)
  • Take at least one day off each week to study the word of God.  I pray that you will also be compelled to keep the 7th day Sabbath (Hebrews 4:9) to help you with your studies.
  • Romans 14:5-6 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.  He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it (last part of verse was taken out of the NIV). He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
  • Always remember that the god of this world is Satan.  Do not place your faith in the world’s standards or ways.  (See John 12:31, John 14:30, John 16:11, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and Revelation 13).
  • Consider reviewing the 613 Mitzvot (Google it, if this word is new to you).  Make sure you read the actual bible verses being cited and do not rely on the various websites’ summaries of each verse because many are not correct.
  • Note:  Yeshua/Jesus had to keep all the mitzvot that applied to him, in order to be our sinless and spotless savior.  He also was pure in mind which requires even greater perfection.  Since he cared enough for us to keep them, why not consider learning what they are?  Many Disciples don’t know them.
  • Again, the law does NOT save, but it informs and guides…  Also, since sin is the transgression of the law, it does not hurt to read them…
  • 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
  • Listen to other learned speakers from various denominations.  Try to focus on those that believe in keeping the commandments of God, and who understand and spend a lot of time in Old and New Testament prophecy.  No matter how good a speaker or pastor is at explaining or interpreting, always confirm their words – Always!  Everyone makes mistakes.
  • Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

How to View Women

Men and women should not be viewed as objects of pleasure... Words that can be used to help build up a fence to guard your mind and your eternal life. Here are more powerful ones:

LEARN KEY BIBLICAL PASSAGES TO DEFEND THE BABY...

Throughout the entire Bible, which is the Word of God and the Word of life, the child is always seen as a great blessing. Try to learn some of the key passages in defense of the unborn. Obviously one of the best is the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, two pregnant women, who would be prime targets for abortion in our modern society. Why? One would be considered way too young to have a baby, a mere teenager: the Blessed Virgin Mary; the other would be considered too old: Elizabeth. We know the beautiful story’s ending: they both trusted totally in God’s loving Providence and said “yes” to life and brought forth the two greatest: John the Baptist and Yeshua/Jesus, the Son of God who would call Himself “the Way, the Truth, and the Life!” (See Luke 1:39-45)

How to Calculate Mark of the Beast 666 Using The Hebrew Alphabet

Table Of Contents

Rev 13:17  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Rev 13:18  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Rev 14:11  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Want to learn how to calculate the "Mark of the Beast"?
Learn Hebrew, there is wisdom in the numerical values of the letters...

Below are all the Hebrew letters and their numerical values (including final forms).

There are various methods that have been used over the ages on how to calculate the Mark of the Beast.  Many of the references you will find will focus on perhaps Greek or Roman numerals or languages.  However, I have come to the conclusion that the wisdom that God is referring to is actually from the native tongue of his chosen people – Hebrew!  Not Aramaic as some would try to convince you…  Although people in Israel did speak Aramaic, it was not spoken by the common man or woman.  See the verses below that clearly confirm this point:

2Ki 18:26  Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah said, "Sir, we don't want the people listening from the city wall to understand what you are saying. So please speak to us in Aramaic instead of Hebrew."

2Ki 18:27  The Assyrian army commander answered, "My king sent me to speak to everyone, not just to you leaders. These people will soon have to eat their own body waste and drink their own urine! And so will the three of you."

2Ki 18:28  Then, in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear, he shouted in Hebrew: Listen to what the great king of Assyria says!

The Hebrew word in verse 26 for Aramaic is ar-aw-meeth or Aramaic.  The word for Hebrew is typically translated into Jewish is yeh-hoo-deeth, but you know it is Hebrew because the other word is clearly Aramaic.

Note:
The word in parenthesis is the English transliteration.  The Hebrew letters are read from right to left.

As can be seen in the verses above, in order for the message to be understood by ALL the people, it had to be said in Hebrew.

What you will find is that this is not an exact science because you essentially will be looking to create a transliteration of a non-Hebrew word into Hebrew.

So for example, if I wanted to transliterate the english word feet, I could come up with at least 3 possible ways to spell this in Hebrew and get the same sound as the english word.

Now converting the letters/numbers of someone’s name…

Let’s use another example.  Like a famous person.  How about the President of the US.  You can use who you prefer…

First the english words --  Barack Hussein Obama

Evil

Table Of Contents

Did you know that even though verses in the bible (especially Old Testament) say that evil comes from God, there are scenes missing each time? Like in the first part of the Book of Job, God does not impart "evil" (I do not mean judgment, but evil) on humanity "directly"... See the verses below and understand that when you see other parts of the bible that talk about evil coming from God, this type of transaction below is always taking place...

1 Kings 22:20-23 And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him.

22 And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

23 Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Remember when Yeshua/Jesus said that Satan has asked to sift you as wheat (and he prayed for Simon Peter) Luke 22:31-32? Same concept...

It is not a concept that is readily understandable by humans, but nevertheless it is the order of things... Remember that the next time some false God says that he is both evil AND good (i.e., Gemini). He is just Satan....

More verses on why God is not Satan:

Joh 14:30  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

2Co 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Messiah, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Rev 20:10  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Pay Taxes

Table Of Contents

Yeshua/Jesus says, render unto to Caesar what belongs to him, and we should do just that... Even though our tax dollars go to many ends that may or may not be aligned with Disciple teachings, we should honor this guidance (except where there is an exclusion, for example, Ezr 7:24).   As long as the people of God stay attached to the world, they will be subject to paying taxes...

Do you not know that taxpayers helped to fund Yeshua/Jesus' Crucifixion? There will be a time when Disciples' taxes will be funding the very system that wars against them (Rev 13:7). The only way to avoid this is to listen to God, and come out of her...  This is the only way to avoid the ungodly aspects of the world…  If we are not out at the last call, it will be too late...

Revelation 18:4
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

Honor Mother and Father - Commandment Commentary

Table Of Contents

The great thing about the 10 commandments is that they apply as long as you are alive. The 1st 1/2 primarily relate to things of God (Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, soul, and mind.), and the 2nd half to things of men (Love your neighbor as yourself)...

So for example, if your mother and/or father are dead physically OR even dead to Yeshua/Jesus
(Matthew 12:48 - 50). The believer can still keep the 5th commandment because the father is also God and the mother is the church (Rev 12:17).

Pope is Not Infallible – Only Yeshua/Jesus

Table Of Contents

To those who were raised Catholic like I was, you may have come across the question... Do you believe the Pope is Infallible? I was at a mass here in Cancun about 4 months, ago and the Priest said that anyone that says the Pope is not infallible is a "heretic".

Now if you know anything about Catholicism, church tradition holds that Peter (one of the 12) was the first pope of the church. But what you may or may not know is that Peter was NOT infallible... There are numerous examples in the scripture where Peter was admonished by our Lord about having not enough faith and about not seeing the big picture about Messiah's eventual crucifixion, and even about how Peter denied Messiah 3 times... Satan also targeted Peter specifically to sift him as wheat. But our Lord prayed for him even though it was prophesied that he would only lose one disciple...

Finally, I will also note that even after the resurrection, Paul had to openly and publicly correct Peter in front of the others for not treating the new gentile converts as he should (Galatians 2:11-21).

Disciples Are to Be More Than Human

Table Of Contents

Do you not know that angels see mankind in all their ways... Evil, good, clothed AND naked...

This scenery does not cause them to leave their estate (as the original fallen did -- Jude 1:6). True "stars" of God are not bound to the earth, but have unlimited potential and promise that their creator has destined them for...

It is not about forcing people to cover up or enforcing dress codes, it is about controlling your mind and having self control and discipline... If you cannot demonstrate that you have a "desire" to be what Messiah has promised, then you may never receive it...

Disciples are going to replace those "stars" that fell, why would you get your intelligence from them?

The end of a Disciple is not to be natural, but supernatural... Not to be human, but as an angel of God.

Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

7 Things God Hates

Table Of Contents

"Pro 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

Comfort Zone
Table Of Contents

Be "careful" when men take you out of your comfort zone...

1 Samuel 17:39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.

Love - Emotions
Table Of Contents

Examples of Emotions:
Fear
Anger
Sadness
Joy
Love
Hate
Trust
Anticipation
Surprise

Emotions are essentially on a continuum, meaning they can be designated as positive or negative.

Love is a good example of an emotion that gets mis-characterized as being good no matter what... Love is love some will say... But what does God say about love?

Php 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

Php 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Messiah;

God associates love, truth, and knowledge as being able to judge correctly because of your correct understanding. The more you know of the wisdom of God, the more you have the capacity to love righteously.

Some love kids, and want them to know God.  A pedophile says he/she loves kids, and he/she wants to know them... Both are using the same emotion, however only one perspective is righteous...

Stand your emotions on truth, and then you may abound in them...

Saints Will Replace the Fallen Angels
Table Of Contents

Did you know that the saints are essentially replacements to the angels that fell?

Think about how workers on strike (or locked out) workers feel about replacement workers or "scabs", and you will have an analogous idea of how Satan and his angels feel about you.

The opposition knows we are not worthy to replace them on our own, but with Yeshua/Jesus we become worthy...

“Don't let them trick you into separating yourself from him!"

What Keeps a Disciple Loyal

Table Of Contents

Does the word of God captivate you like the disciples? Yeshua/Jesus did many miracles before them, but that was not the reason they gave him for not leaving when other followers did... Peter said, you have the words of eternal life, where else can we go?

Not because he turned water to wine, not because he withstood Satan, not because he was without sin, not because he healed the blind or the cripple, cast out demons, BUT the word of God kept them.

Does it keep you?

John 6:68  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Colleges Turning Kids Away From Messiah

Table Of Contents

Colleges are big drag nets for leading young men and women away from God... Some numbers as high a 70% show youngsters turn away from God while attending college.

I personally think this happens because we as parents break the commandments of God. Parents are to teach the children about the ways of the Lord continually (morning, evening and night) -- Deuteronomy 6:7.

Most parents break this commandment as they do not themselves know the word of God well enough to even fill up the time allotment God asks for...

Feasts – Yom Teruah and Unleavened Bread

Table Of Contents

What is the significance of the "Trumpet" sound when Messiah returns 1 Thessalonians 4:16 to gather/harvest the elect?

In the month of September is a day of Trumpets called Yom Teruah. The Torah mentions the day (Yom Teruah) as a special day of rest, a day of memory, marked by the blowing of the horns/shofar/trumpet, a holy convocation, and a time to offer burnt offerings (the 1st day of the "Seventh" biblical month). Vayikra/Leviticus 23:23-25

Those who are in the light will not know the day and hour, but they will know the season.

Main point: The knowledge of God's holidays will better prepare you for the time of his coming - period

Have you ever had unleavened bread (First Eaten Each Year At Passover Feast)?

If not, you should try it... It is the same bread (without yeast or leaven) that Yeshua/Jesus ate with the disciples at the last supper or Passover. This bread is called the "bread of affliction" probably because of its cracker-like consistency and rigidness. Yeshua/Jesus said that bread was symbolic of his body. Most also know that the body of Messiah is also symbolic of the church. The bread without leaven is also symbolic of a body without SIN. Although Disciples still sin at times, they are made sinless through Messiah. However, their walk towards Messiah should be symbolic as taking leaven out of bread, and ultimately being like an angel that ONLY cares about what God wants (Joshua 5:14).

The symbolism and experience may help you to see what is expected of Disciples as we walk towards a sin free life. Which by the way, you cannot have sin IF there is no law (1Jn_3:4).

The reality is that saints in Messiah are NOT under the law, but they are under grace (or the blood of the lamb of God). Grace IS under the law. It is good to also note that a saint is defined as follows-- One that keeps the commandments of "God", and has the faith in the word of Yeshua/Jesus and believes in the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus' prophecy (Revelation 12:17,14:12, and 19:11).

You stay covered by the blood by being a saint as defined above. If you leave the covering of the blood by causing grace to abound (Rom_6:1-2) and choose the wide way instead of the narrow gate (door). You will experience death. The Israelites only placed the blood of the lamb on the door posts (Exo 12:7).  This is symbolic of a saints' parameters... You have to stay covered by Grace so that the angel of death or so that the consequences of breaking the law can Passover you...

Marriage

Table Of Contents

The thing is that the concept of marriage in the bible is much bigger than the world's interpretation. Maybe some pastors miss the mark on this topic at times... Our mother the Church (Revelation 12:17) is preparing to meet her husband really soon... This marriage will be the culmination of thousands of years of the human experience.

Human marriage is a microcosm of a much bigger story and vantage point. We have the opportunity to learn about it individually, but many fail (including myself) to appreciate and also persevere in marriage because the definition and purpose at the onset is not fully understood. And as you know, the waters are becoming even more muddy as time goes on...

Just know that the saints are the seed of that woman and she is going to marry her groom. And as we know that husband (who is God and is in God) will come for his wife and they will become one flesh. We will all then be all in all (1 Corinthians 15:27-28)...

An approach to this issue based on the word of God...

The original design of the husband and wife relationship had included a mutually dependent relationship. God did not believe man should be alone, as a matter of fact he said everything in creation up to the point of creating woman was good. But it was NOT good for the man to be alone.

God intended for man and woman to work together to achieve a purpose or vision. God gave man the vision and gave the woman the job to support (or help) to accomplish this purpose. Men and women were designed to compliment one another and the relationship was supposed to be one of a perpetual cycle of giving... Each filling the need of the other continuously...

However, this cycle (circle or spiral) has been broken due to many factors.

In modern society and with the advent of the feminist movement, there has been a redefining of status in the male/female relationship. Instead of Godly intent, emphasis has been placed on economic standards and other standards that undermine the principals of cooperation and mutual respect... Adversarial relationships have become more common place and the pursuit of independence from one another has caused a rift or divide that can only be mended by returning to the fundamentals of God's intent for the foundation of the family.

No home should be without the family vision that was provided to the man by God. This statement of purpose will help to guide the relationship to embrace the precepts that God has set forth. A woman should not accept a man without a Godly vision and they should not embrace a man who's vision they cannot support. Meaning your personal goals, and aspirations should be able to be accomplished within the vision of your spouse. If this is not the case, you are in immediate jeopardy of living outside of God's original plan for marriage.

A true vision should not be able to be accomplished by yourself. This fact helps to facilitate the cycle of giving. A vision should encompass your entire life so there is no excuse for the cycle to be broken.

Elijah The Prophet

Table Of Contents

Will Elijah the Prophet make a "third" return just before Yeshua/Jesus' "2nd" return? Most Pastors will say John the Baptist was the only biblically confirmed return of Elijah. Are they correct? Should you be listening for the voice of Elijah in these days?

If you think no, see the following verses and answer the question below, and see if the results change your mind.

Mat 17:11 And Yeshua/Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. (note future tense), Malachi 3:1 (see the Hebrew for Lord) and Malachi 4:5 (again, see the Hebrew for Lord).

When did John the Baptist die?

If after reading the above verses and then answering the question, you still believe Elijah does not return, then let's talk about it. :)

Did you know that God thinks it is so important that children and their dads have a relationship of love that if they do not, it is curse worthy?

Malachi 4:4-6  Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.   Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Special Note:  Listen for Elijah's voice because it is once again preparing the way for the "Lord". This time the Lion NOT the Lamb...
Racism

Table Of Contents

If you are still having issues with race in 2013 you may not be able to be amongst those below...

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"

To my boys...  Don’t let anyone confuse you with lies about the differences of the people of the earth.

God does not look upon people based on the color of their skin, and neither should you.  Search the scriptures sons, and you will see that God never makes reference to race the way the world does…  If you search closely enough, you will find that the references to skin color are only related to disease (leprosy), description of angels, ancient of days, and Solomon’s song…  If there are others, they are more than likely in the same context.  Never does God disparage a “race” of people because of the physical features.  He only makes a difference based on behavior.  You should too

Also, be careful of "well-meaning" counselors that try to teach you to be idolaters.  You may be asking, what does idolatry have to do with racism?  Racism is really a form of idolatry where one group of people set a man made standard of beauty, intelligence, work ethic, leadership, etc.  When in reality, the only idol or source that a Disciple should have for defining these attributes or qualities (and similar ones) is the word of God.  No other man or group of people should be put in the place of Yeshua/Jesus and his truth.

Racism is where one group of people establish themselves as a human standard where other races should strive to attain, and they actively try to influence the world with this belief. This is also blasphemous because only Yeshua/Jesus is our standard!  Yeshua/Jesus always has been and always will be the focus of a Disciple's growth and maturity in all relevant ways.

Sons, idolatry is set aside as a very grave sin.  It is harmful enough that if it persists without repentance, it can cause a person to be excluded from the Lamb's book of life:

Revelation 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Is dad saying that if people try to make you feel good about your race or your heritage that they are bad?  No, not necessarily...  What I am saying is that if they try to present a viewpoint that your race or any other race should somehow be set apart from all other races as being superior or that a race or group of races should be some form of human standard then that individual or group of people are teaching idolatry and humanism.

Their views actually threaten your salvation and all those they teach it to.   They are interested in division based on sight not on content.  Even if they present data that suggests that they have done research and studies to support their position.  Know that all people are the same "In Messiah".

Galatians 3:28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.

That is every Disciple's goal.  Empirical and other statistical studies are irrelevant, and I should note are usually full of fallacies.  Remember dad is a Black Belt in 6-Sigma (Google it), so I know my way around statistics, and how they can be manipulated.

Learn statistics because people tend to use statistics to prove erroneous points (ie., the Bell Curve Theory), but if you have good knowledge of the subject, you will easily see through the flaws.  Some black people may come to you and say look at the state of the world, who do you think caused these problems?  They may try to blame white people, and group them as all being devils or maybe even try to suggest that this is their nature.  Let me simply state that there are only 2 races of people that Yeshua/Jesus cares about -- those that are Godly and those that are ungodly.  Both races or groups are made up of the same variety of races.  The only thing distinguishing the 2 groups is their behavior.

Also, be careful with how Satan works.  He is very tricky.  It may not be just black people that try to change your feelings on race.  If you are really a danger or very strong in Messiah, he will also send white people or other races to try and make you harbor feelings of hate towards those groups based on the efforts of a few.  This can be very effective, and all Disciples no matter their race need to be aware of this very effective tactic!  It is in fact on purpose.  These agents only goal is to get you to hate their represented race.  Don't let them fool you, but if it appears overwhelming at times, please ask God for help, and I promise, he will.

Psalms 2 says that the people of the world imagine vain things, and the rulers and kings plot against God and Yeshua/Jesus.  These same rulers are in every country of the world, and they prefer to listen to the voice of Satan (the god of this world 2 Corinthians 4:4) instead of the creator of the universe.

When Satan wants to get things accomplished in the world, he uses people.  If Satan wants to deceive or oppress people in an African country, he uses the leaders of that country.  He does not care about their race, he only wants to accomplish his goal.  This is how he works all throughout the world.  Whoever is in leadership position or in a position to take a needed action (even a cashier or doorman), they are potential candidates that Satan will try to use.  They do not have to accept his suggestions, but many do and will.

Most world governments that have the greatest power are either controlled by Caucasians or Asians.  As prophecy unfolds, Satan will use some of these governments (Revelation 17:12 and Daniel 2:41-43) to consolidate the world's military, economy, and social structure.  Some will try to convince you that racism is the primary driver behind these changes.  They will try to get you to have hate in your heart for Caucasians and Asians. They only want you to feel this way so you will be a weaker instrument for God or unusable altogether.  If you accept these teachings then God will not be able to use you to reach his people.

Although racism will still exist, it will be more of a tool used by the leaders to keep the people in a confused and divided state.  Those that have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus (the spirit of prophecy -- Revelation 19:10) will not be fooled and will see it for what it really is...

Racism does not exist in the Kingdom of God, but it does exist in the kingdom of Satan.

A kingdom divided cannot stand (Matthew 12:25 and Revelation 17:16)!

p.s. "There is no such thing as the "Black Church"! Or any other church classified by race... These are man-made concepts or titles. There is one Church and one GOD...

Disciples of ALL races will stand before the lamb...Revelation 7:9!

Resist the Devil
Table Of Contents

One of the ways evil can be defined...

Satan looks at little kids with flies all over their faces in some underprivileged country; he actually sees that as opportunity to manipulate the masses. How did he come to this conclusion?

Unlike most people who feel sad when they see this type of image, he decided to study the modification in behavior that resulted in the lack of will to take any further action against the flies...

As a result of his observations and study, he found great potential in being able to modify human behavior so people will relinquish their will to fight or resist HIS will...

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

This man, and others like him, hate this verse. Consequently, they are looking for ways to keep you from resisting... Now, I ask, what kind of mind thinks this way?

Many will follow this mind -- god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4 & Revelation 12:9,13:4).  Don’t you be one of them!

Here is an example of the fly tactic at work...

Many will have noticed that all of a sudden gay marriage has become very ubiquitous topic in all forms of media.  It is hard to find a place where same sex marriage or the LGBT issue is not being discussed these days and being normalized...  For example, the workplace, places of worship, schools, government, sports, foreign policy, etc...

Satan is again applying the fly tactic to numb the public especially Disciples on this issue. Eventually, just like the little children that he so enjoyed to study, many people will stop resisting the change and it will be commonplace.  Watch for different variations of this tactic as he completes his push to implement the anti-Messiah system where sin is no longer sin.  If sin is no longer sin, then there is or never was a need for Yeshua/Jesus.  This is the anti-Messiah doctrine at its core -- eventually through various tactics including this one, Satan wants to cause people to disregard Yeshua/Jesus as their atoning savior.

But you say, Satan is a myth.  I believe in Yeshua/Jesus (John 3:16), but not Satan...

It is unfortunate that some people that say they believe in Yeshua/Jesus also laugh or baulk at the reality of Satan. How can you say you believe in Yeshua/Jesus, but not believe in his very words and accounts of his personal experiences with Satan?  Below are 3 examples of Yeshua/Jesus' "personal" accounts regarding Satan:

1.
Luk 10:18  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

2.
Luk 22:31  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

3. Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7  Yeshua/Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10  Then saith Yeshua/Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

If people can make you feel uncomfortable about Satan being real as the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), that is not the only thing about the word of God that they will cause you to cast away or have an uncomfortable feeling about...
Hot or Cold – Luke Warm?
Table Of Contents

Do you know whether God wants you to be hot or cold? What does Yeshua/Jesus mean by the verses below?

Revelation 3:16
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Matthew 24:12
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

The reality is this... In the days ahead, true believers will not be accepted by Messiah if they are lukewarm, BUT what about hot or cold?

The implication of the verses above suggest that God only wants those that have an intense "hot" desire to be with him. He asks us to love him with all of our heart, soul, and might (Deuteronomy 6:5).

Why? Because the lukewarm believers after being spued out of his mouth will eventually turn from lukewarm to cold. That is the implication seen in Matthew 24:12 because we cannot make it without the Lord.

Here is another secret treasure you will learn from the scriptures... God's plan is so complete that "many" that are lukewarm will be forced to become hot, not directly by God but by the currents brought forth by Satan and his children...

Just look at the support Disciples are giving today to what they believe is a Disciple's right to express God's perspective.

This is a precursor to events that will be much more pivotal in determining the fate of millions if not billions of souls...

Although supporting Chick Fil-A for the vast majority of Disciples will not bring forth any type of retaliation or negative consequences as Yeshua/Jesus prophesied for those that love him. It is still a good indication of conscience.

There will soon, however, be times that taking a stand for God/Yeshua/Jesus will come with grave consequences. In these times, only those HOT for the Lord will be saved. Remember Lot's wife!!

Does God Want Us To Hate Our Family?
Table Of Contents

Does Yeshua/Jesus really want us to HATE our family and our own life?

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

The simple answer is NO. There are too many biblical references that would suggest the opposite.

However, when it comes to choosing between the former and following the word of God (which Yeshua/Jesus is...), you are expected to choose Yeshua/Jesus over all other things, including your life (see the trials in the book of Daniel -- fire execution and lion's den). Both are examples of choosing God over your own life.

Also, in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 13) where God warns followers not to take the mark of the beast which if not taken could mean execution under the world's laws at the time. Follower's of the word, would gladly give up their life than to be eternally separated from God by taking the mark.

Now in terms of choosing Yeshua/Jesus over family... Consider the following...

In the book of Luke (Chapter 17:32), Yeshua/Jesus said -- "REMEMBER LOT's WIFE"!! To fully understand the purpose of this request, you would need to know that when Lot's wife looked back to the city, she "lost life", and was turned to salt because of her attachment (which was more than likely to her other daughters and son-in-laws that thought Lot was joking and stayed behind). Her attachment to the world and her family who chose to love the world and not follow God's commandment was strong enough to cause her to hesitate, look back, and be killed.

As a disciple of Yeshua/Jesus, this just won't do. Especially, in the latter days (Matthew 24)... So in fact, the scriptures prove that in such an instance, you would be better served to HATE family members or other close relations who oppose God's way than to love them because that attachment "could" cost you all that matters most -- your soul!

Additionally, some may not know that Yeshua/Jesus himself provided definitions of what determines who his mother, sister, and brothers were...

Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

If your family members and friends meet the definition in verse 50, then you will never have to worry about Luke 14.:26 as it relates to them. So spread the word of God (starting at home), and save souls...

How Wide Are Your Door Posts?
Table Of Contents

How wide are your door posts?

God says that the blood of the lamb is to be placed over the door and on its sides so that he will cover you (Exodus 12:23)...

Is salvation a collective thing or is it individual? How many people can fit through the door that is described in Exodus 12:23?

God's door to safety has limits, it has tolerances... How do you know if you are within Yeshua/Jesus' tolerance level so that his blood is covering you?

Those outside of God's tolerance level will not find life - Exodus 12:23.

Those within God's tolerance level do not have to be perfect as long as they choose to stay covered. God's grace covers them while within the parameters of "his" limits.

Yeshua/Jesus says "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:14

What are God's limits? You know them by understanding his definition of what a saint is because saints are the object of God's grace.

Here is how the book of Revelation defines a saint:

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus Messiah.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yeshua/Jesus.

Now here is how the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus is defined for Rev 12:17 above...

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The definition of a saint is also the definition of God's limits.

A saint is someone that keeps the commandments of God, and the faith and testimony of Yeshua/Jesus.

What is the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus? "...the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

What are the commandments of God?
1. Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, soul, and mind.

2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

The 1st one is related to the 1st 5 commandments, and the last 1 is related to the last 5 of the 10 commandments.

So how do you stay covered by the blood of Yeshua/Jesus under the narrow door and stay within the tolerance of God?

1. Keep the commandments of God (because they are your guide)

2. Have faith in Yeshua/Jesus the forgiver of sins (because no one comes to the Father but through the Son)

3. Have the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus (because studying and knowing prophecy in the correct context will cause the believer to shape their thoughts and behaviors to be well suited for the times ahead)

Unlawful Sexual Relations

Table Of Contents

Fornication, adultery and same-sex relations...

The marrying of the flesh of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman is fornication.

If they are both married to other parties then it is adultery.

If only one is married to a 3rd party, then the unmarried party is committing adultery and the married party is committing fornication.

The bible specifically states that men that commit same-sex relations are committing an abomination.  List of other abominable sexual sins (including adultery), can be found in Leviticus 18.

The Torah does not specifically outlaw women that commit same-sex relations probably because women cannot marry the bodies, however the Torah does outlaw bestiality for both men and women (Lev 18:23). Paul could be alluding to woman on woman sex in Romans 1:26, but it is not specifically mentioned as he does in Romans 1:27 for men.

Romans 1:26 is more than likely only a reference to bestiality and incest to stay consistent with the Torah (Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law (Torah), till all be fulfilled.).

Special Note:
Although the word abomination can be found in the New Testament (especially in the Book of Revelation - Rev 21:27), it is NEVER defined in the New Testament.  You can only find the definition of abominations or abominable acts in the Old Testament.

How Many Last Days are Left?
Table Of Contents

Did you know that there are more than 1 "last days"?

1. There are the end time days that lead up to the 2nd coming of Messiah (Matthew 24:4-31)
2. There are the last days of the 1,000 year reign (Revelation 20:6-7)
3. And there are the last days before the 2nd resurrection (Revelation 20:7-10)

It is important to know which last days you are reading when looking at bible prophecy. For example, the last days in Ezekiel 38 is not #1, BUT #3 with the battle of Gog and Magog.

We are in #1...

What is the thorn that was in Paul's flesh?
Table Of Contents
2 Corinthians 12:7-9

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a THORN IN THE FLESH, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this THING (this messenger of Satan) I besought the Lord thrice, (three times) that it might DEPART from me..."

I actually found out the answer to this on 12/7/11. God is good!

Here is what it is NOT, an infirmity or disease... IT is what Paul said it was A messenger from Satan. However, to understand the purpose and nature of the messenger, you have to ask the question -- WHY did Yeshua/Jesus allow it?

The answer is in the first part of the verse..."And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations"...

This is the key to understanding the nature of Paul's problem. It was actually a messenger of Satan that was given a level of authority over Paul's flesh (which is already weak). This "messenger" was used to keep Paul from getting raised higher than God/Yeshua/Jesus wanted him to be raised... Remember the level of zeal Paul had as he persecuted Disciples? Yeshua/Jesus knew he would have this same level of zeal for him, but you have to remember the time Paul lived in...

He was living in (the 4th beast kingdom -- IRON Daniel 2:40). God's plan is not to have one of his own being exalted "above measure" during the time of ANY beast kingdom (we now live in Iron & Clay Daniel 2:41), so he had to buffet Paul using a messenger of Satan.

The messenger is used to do just that, send conflicting/deceiving/lying/out of context messages to those Paul is trying to save either telepathically or by other means available to the messenger... One of the impacts is to lessen Paul's influence and to reduce the possibility that the people will take him for a God to be worshiped...

That is why it is so important for Disciples to use their power of discernment. God did not want Paul to be exalted above measure, but he still had a purpose for him, and a job for him to do... He would not have been successful if the people were not smart enough to realize truth when they heard it (Acts 17:10-11)...

Stay strong in the Lord AND DISCERN -- disciple of Messiah!

Gog and Magog
Table Of Contents

Confusion about Gog and Magog in the Book of Ezekiel:

I think it would be a good idea to read Revelation 20:7-9. After reading this, then go to Ezekiel 38:14-22. I hope you will conclude that the verses in Revelation and in Ezekiel are referring to the same event.

You see THIS latter day prophecy is not for OUR immediate latter day, it is actually after "the 2nd coming", and even AFTER the 1,000 year reign of Messiah. Living in those times brings forth a new latter day and end times as well.

This time is before the final judgment of Satan and the second resurrection AND before the new heaven and new earth, BUT after the 1,000 year reign...

Oftentimes people also confuse the temple described in the latter chapters of Ezekiel with the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21, they are not the same in any way. One was built on earth AFTER Yeshua/Jesus' second coming (Ezekiel), and the other came from God out of heaven (Revelation).

Also note the extremely long period mentioned in Ezekiel about the burning of the “wood” weapons…  This could not possibly be talking about the pre-1,000 year reign because man has the ability to destroy the earth, and will definitely not be using “wood” weapons (Ezekiel 39:6-10)!

Should God Show Human Emotions?
Table Of Contents

Sometimes, I hear or read about people having a problem with the God of the bible having or showing emotions like jealousy, anger, regret, love, etc... These same people usually prefer a concept of a creator that has no emotions. Some have called this concept the ALL, or the universe, or simply the creator... However, even the wisest students of this perspective had a question that if you follow this belief cannot have an acceptable answer -- Why did the creator create? Was there some other cause? Then that would mean that cause was really the creator. But we are still unsatisfied because the 1st question still remains... Why does the creator create? They have no answer that will fit their postulate because the only relative understanding people have for causing something to occur is because of desire or will due to some form of want or need... This just won't do if you hold tight to the belief that the creator does not have any emotions... So why? Disciples have the answer, so who is really in the dark? This in fact is very similar to the question, what caused the big bang and why did it cause it? The reality is that the ALL concept is missing an essential truth.. God created because it was pleasureful for him to do so...

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

What if Someone Never Had a Chance To Know Yeshua/Jesus?
Table Of Contents

Popular question (that all Disciples should know the answer to...):

What about people who never got a chance to know about Yeshua/Jesus, do they "automatically" perish -- John 3:16? In short -- NO!

First, remember that God is a perfect father, and he loves all of his children... If you always remember to give God the benefit of the doubt in EVERYTHING, no question will make you feel uneasy, because you will know that there is an answer, but you may just need time to find it... Never ever doubt your faith because God had it all figured out before he said "let there be light" (Isaiah 46:10)...

Now the longer answer...

See Revelation 20:4-6 and 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17... These verses describe the resurrection and reunion of those who already died in Messiah or knew about Yeshua/Jesus Messiah. The 2nd death will have no power over them...

See Revelation 20:11-15... These verses explain how God/Yeshua/Jesus will judge those individuals that were not in the group above... This group will include people that may have lived wonderful caring lives, but for whatever reason never knew Yeshua/Jesus Messiah...

But because Messiah is the judge, they still can only get to the Father through him, and since every knee will bow before the lamb, if they are found worthy and are included in the Lamb's book of life, they will be in Messiah at that time. Please share with other Disciples because this is a question that is used often by naysayers to trip us up...

Special Point:
Don't let people convince you that ALL people that are judged during the 2nd resurrection will be ungodly or the "wicked".  This is just not true.

Many people judged during that time will have lived during Yeshua/Jesus' 1,000 year reign with his saints, and those naysayers would basically be saying that NOBODY that lived and died during Yeshua/Jesus' reign was worth saving.  What a negative testimony about Yeshua/Jesus' rule!

Sorcery and Witchcraft
Table Of Contents

Deu 18:10  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

Deu 18:11  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

Deu 18:12  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

I was actually talking to someone about this very topic not to long ago...  Oftentimes, individuals that espouse a humanistic view about the access to spiritual power like to disparage Disciples by saying they are looking for God externally... Many will say "God is within you", you don't need to look outside... And what they say is correct, God is in us...

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

However, they miss the fact that the spirit inside of us is still God's... It is "his" spirit, and even though there are ways to access the power of the spirit without invoking the name of Yeshua/Jesus (i.e., Pharaoh's magicians, prophets of Baal, etc.), the owner expressly commands that we do NOT use these methods... Especially considering the fact, that oftentimes, access to this unsanctioned power, must be gained by using the help of fallen spirits... This type of access has been labeled as abomination... The definition of abominations can only be found in the Old Testament, and using the spirit in these ways is in fact abominable...

Yeshua/Jesus states that there are different levels of sin (John 19:11), and there is no question that abominable sins are the worst... Yes, using the power of the spirit can be used to bring forth amazing works, but if your maker has not endorsed its use, then you are on the wrong side of judgment and choice...

There is nothing wrong with learning about God's spirit within as long as you do it God's way. In finding out about God through "his" word and his "holy" spirit, you will learn more about who you are and your purpose and the plan he has for all his repentant children that choose him.

The secular world's teaching on how to know self/God is not the way God teaches us to know him... See Psalms 119 (i.e., Psalm 119:100 and Psalm 119:93)... David says by studying God's word with the help of God's holy spirit, he has learned how God quickens souls and he knows more than those in antiquity... The people that lived in the days of Noah (like many today), had a high-level of knowledge, but they used it in opposition to their creator. They thought ungodly thoughts all the time (as in today) -- Psalms 2:1-3, and they chose to use God's power for purposes he did not intend for his children to use it for...

What you will find is that the secular world's perspective on learning about self and acquiring powers of the spirit are different than the biblical view -- the former does NOT need Yeshua/Jesus, while the latter does. Always test the spirits (1 John 4:1-3 -- key word Messiah/"THE" Messiah) and be sure they are communicating the same Gospel that Yeshua/Jesus spoke (i.e., kingdom of God and Yeshua/Jesus' death for our "sins" unto everlasting life for those who truly believe)... God knows that without his guidance, man will use his power improperly that is why Adam was cast out of the garden... If we cannot be patient to learn and acquire God's knowledge and power by his means, then he deems us unworthy to live forever... Yeshua/Jesus said we will be as holy angels of God (Joshua 5:13-15)... This means that God's holy angels are only obedient to his way... God expects the same from his saints. If we love him, we will keep his commandments (John 14:15)...

The secular world's (i.e., new age, secret societies, etc.) use of God's power is analogous to that of Satan's. They use it how they see fit, and do as they will... This is a recipe for disaster, and those who follow this path are destined to be detached from the source of all power forever... God has an incredible future for his saints. No mind has ever conceived what he has in store for us, but it is only promised to those who are patient enough to follow his way...

One last point about David's passion... Please don't let anyone tell you that since Yeshua/Jesus died we do not have to see things David's way because we are not under the law. This part is true, we are NOT under the law. We are under grace if we are in Yeshua/Jesus. BUT grace IS under the law.

Do not think about David's passion for God's commandments, precepts, and statutes as a way to achieve salvation (it is not). David (the prophet) knew even before Yeshua/Jesus' time that he needs God's mercy (Psalms 119:41) in spite of his zealousness for his way. Again, David's passion was centered around his love of God and the knowledge and power that can be found in his word NOT salvation. Salvation can only be found in Yeshua/Jesus (John 14:6).

Remember, that after over 3 years of learning directly from God/Yeshua/Jesus, Yeshua/Jesus called the disciples his friends. He said they knew what he knew... They were ready to receive the power of the spirit because God knew they would be responsible with it... They still had to wait until after his ascension, but they were ready because they did it his way!

Discipleship 101
Table Of Contents

Discipleship 101 -
1. The Law is established by God/Yeshua/Jesus -- John 1:3
2. Sin is the Transgression of the Law -- 1 John 3:4
3. The word of God says the wages of sin is death -- Romans 6:23
4. Yeshua/Jesus, our SINLESS savior died for our sins, BUT because he was sinless, the law must be fulfilled, so Death could NOT hold him
5. Now, anyone that believes in Yeshua/Jesus, can escape death of the soul (perishing) and live eternally through the resurrection -- John 3:16

Important POINT: If someone tells you there is NO sin OR law
(1 John 1:10), then the whole purpose for Yeshua/Jesus becomes null and void...

Only Yeshua/Jesus SAVES!!! John 14:6

How Our Society Hurts People Born NOT Attracted to the Opposite Sex?
Table Of Contents
Does God love everyone? In short, YES!

Now the 1st question... Yeshua/Jesus defines a man not attracted to the opposite sex or not meant to marry as a Eunuch -- Matthew 19:12

Mat 19:11 But he said to them, "Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. Mat 19:12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it."

Some people are born as eunuchs, and unfortunately our society only has 3 real options for them -- stay in the closet as gay, lesbian or transexual, go into the LGBT community, and/or now same-sex marriage. However, none of those options are acceptable to God or beneficial for the person...

Society perverts the inherent brotherly or sisterly love that a eunuch is born with that is designed to enhance their ability to minister/serve God and only offers a fleshly explanation for their feelings... Paul says that we must live after the spirit and not the flesh to please God. (Romans 8:4-14)

If our society and leaders were more grounded in Messiah they would already have an established infrastructure for these special individuals in the body of Messiah just like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego instead of the options founded in the flesh.

How the Bible Addresses People NOT Being Attracted to the Opposite Sex...
Table Of Contents

Yeshua/Jesus said some people were not meant to marry or in other words have sexual relations (kind of like Catholic priests). He even said that some were even BORN that way. These people are called eunuchs NOT GAY or LESBIAN -- Matthew 19:10-12. They are supposed to be serving God like Daniel the prophet did. But society tells them that their brotherly or sisterly love is really a perversity. And instead of being used to serve God, they pervert the feelings and express it in the form of gay sex. Gay sex is a choice, being born a eunuch is NOT... You will see that God knows the end from the beginning... Isaiah 46:10 -- The reality is being gay is a man made lifestyle.

If only our leaders had the mind of Messiah, they would define the issue better...

Boys and Men of God take note...

FOUNDATION:
1. Sin is the transgression of the law -- 1 John 3:4
2. The law was established in Old Testament 613 Mitzvah
3. Yeshua/Jesus did not come to destroy the law -- Matthew 5:18, but he SAVES us from the impact of the law -- John 3:16
4. The Book of Revelation says no one that practices abomination will be in the book of life -- Revelation 21:27 (Note: The only place abominations are defined are in the Old Testament)

ANSWER:
1. The law of God says same sex intercourse for men is an abomination -- Leviticus 20:13
2. Paul in Romans mentions that certain sexual relations are unnatural (Romans 1:24-28)
3. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were all "Eunuchs" from their youth and served the lord their entire lives without marrying
4. Yeshua/Jesus defines a Eunuch as a man that will not marry - Matthew 19:12
5. Some Eunuchs are born that way, some are changed, and some choose that way - Matthew 19:12
6. The ones that are born Eunuchs are not attracted to the opposite sex
7. Paul says that we must live after the spirit and not the flesh to please God.
(Romans 8:4-14)
8. Paul also says that the law can be fulfilled in those that walk after the spirit, and not the flesh Romans 8:4

If you have a child or young adult that appears to have been born NOT attracted to the opposite sex, then it is quite likely they are NOT meant to marry, but as their parent you should lead them to be a priest or servant unto the most high God (male or female).

A few eternal life choices for Eunuchs:
1. Serve God and give him your life
2. Marry the opposite sex, and live a normal Disciple Life (change of mind)
3. Marry & serve God
4. Do not violate any of the sexual laws, and live a normal Disciple Life

The LGBT community is NOT an option for those in the Book of Life.

Isa 56:3 Let no foreigner who has bound himself to Yahweh say,
“He will surely exclude me from his people.”  And let not any eunuch complain,  “I am only a dry tree.” 4 For this is what Elohim says:  “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant— 5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off."

Why Didn’t Adam and Eve Die in the “Day” They Ate of the Fruit
Table Of Contents

Did you know that some believe that GOD LIED to Adam when he said ... in the day that you eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, you shall die...? They say Adam did not die in that day because he lived over 900 years.

Well GOD, did not lie... Nobody since Adam has lived longer than a day from GOD's perspective, which is 1,000 years from our perspective -- nobody
(2 Peter 3:8)...

Also remember, Adam's perspective was the same as GOD's perspective until he sinned...

Revelation 22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Lesson: worship God, not his creation...

Did you know that of the 400 plus verses in The Book Revelation over 270 are quotes almost word for word from other parts of the Bible?

Did you know that Satan (via the serpent) told Eve 66% truth and 33% lie in the garden? Truths - 1. Your eyes will be opened 2. And be as God, knowing good and evil. 3. Lie - You shall not die.

As always most of what HE says is true, but the part that is not, will cost you your life!"

Some find it hard if not impossible to pray for their enemies... But many do not know that Yeshua/Jesus knows this -- that is why he gave you the Lord's Prayer.

"And those who villianize profits as being something "inherently" evil only have motivations to enslave you. Matthew 25:20-30"

Did you know that by keeping the Sabbath that it is a sign to God that you can remove yourself from the economic system of the world? This will be a requirement for some Disciples in the era of the beast system. Anyone who receives the mark of the beast to "buy and sell" will not be a part of the kingdom of God (Revelation 13).   It really is not a hardship, but a relief.

Keeping the 7 day sabbath is also a sign to him that you want his 1,000 years of rest that will occur during the 1,000 years reign which is also the 7th day of the human experience after Adam's fall --  from God's perspective!

Questions from D my oldest

My little boy asked me, "Dad is God a man?", I said no D, God is spirit.

Did you know that one reason that God manifests himself as a man in the physical world is because the male principle of creation is a giving principle and the female principle is a receiving principle?

My little boy said, like how Adam gave Eve his rib? Yes, D.

God also gave his only son for you. John 3:16... Will you accept his gift?

Dad, what is a landlord? Someone that owns property, and lends it to others… God is a landlord D.

The world is actually being leased right now... But the manager is not Disciple (Luke 4:5-7). This is onetime that I will be happy to see the real landlord come and collect the rent... Come Lord Yeshua/Jesus...

Did you know that if you don't have a job that will cause the below to happen then you need to exercise or go to a gym?

The 7th Day Sabbath

Table Of Contents

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I love the Lord's Sabbath. It has personal meaning for me in many ways. The most important one is how keeping it has brought me closer to know him. I cannot express how grateful I am to have been compelled by the Lord to keep his 7th day sabbath. He works in mysterious ways at times, but this was by far the most important change in my entire life.

I am so pleased with this commandment that I have a little bonus poem. I hope you enjoy.

I can't resist the urge to desist... 6 days of work, and 1 day of rest... Ahh, a day without stress or cares... a day to remember the creator of heaven and earth... a day to reflect on the simplicity of creation... no matter your nation, the Lord's day is a dedication to man... understand? it is a good habit to remember the Lord on "his" Sabbath...

The sabbath day was made for man because in God's wisdom he knew we would need a set a part day for his set apart people. It is an opportunity to spend much needed time with him, rest our bodies and minds, and it is a form of escape from the hustle and bustle of the world.

You would be amazed with what God can do with you in just 52 days out of the year. Obviously, you can be with him anytime, but there is nothing like a standing appointment.

Eze_20:12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

Did you know that the word sanctify means to be set apart or be made holy?

Did you also know that by keeping the 7th day Sabbath, it is a sign to God that you can take one day out of the week to remove (or set yourself apart) from the economic system of the world?

This will be a requirement for some disciples in the era of the beast system. Anyone who receives the mark of the beast to "buy and sell" will not be a part of the kingdom of God (Revelation 13). It really is not a hardship, but a relief.

Keeping the 7th day sabbath is also a sign to him that you want his 1,000 years of rest that will occur during the 1,000 years reign (also called Yomim HaMashiach -- the days of the Messiah) which is also the 7th day of the human experience after Adam's fall.

The 7th day will also be the Lord's 3rd day for the 2nd coming. And we know what happens on the 3rd day - Resurrection!

How can we say these things about the days and years? Read this verse from Peter.

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Do you remember that one of the fruits of the spirit is peace?

Well read these next verses, and you be the judge if the 7th Day sabbath has spirit and life.

They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation will not lift sword against nation and they will no longer study warfare. (Isaiah 2:4)

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on my entire holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6-9)

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God (Yahweh); Hebrews 4:9
For the Son of Man is Elohim of the Sabbath." Matthew 12:8

The 7th Day Sabbath - A Sign Between God and His People

"Speak also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am YHVH who does sanctify you." (Exodus 31:13)

"I am YHVH your God; Speak also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am YHVH who does sanctify you. Walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them; And hallow My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am YHVH your God." (Ezekiel 20:19-20)

Is The 7th Day Sabbath Only For Israel? Or Was It Intended For All Mankind?

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHVH, to serve Him, and to love the Name of YHVH, to be His servants, every one that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of My covenant; Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon My altar; for My house shall be called a House of Prayer for all people. (Isaiah 56:6-7)

Experimenting With The Word
Table Of Contents

One Sunday, I was talking to the boys about how God always gives “beneficial advice” to his children.  We were talking about some of the guidance he gave on clean animals and unclean animals, and various other commandments that to some appear to be arbitrary.

After our talk, I thought about the verses below.  I know that God does not give arbitrary guidance.  Consequently, I decided to put together a little experiment to see if we could perhaps “see” some sort of benefit in the guidance below in the growth of 2 pepper plants.  Important:  I did not know what the outcome would be NOR did I know “exactly” why the blood was better poured out as water than eaten.  So I told myself that even if there was no measurable difference between the 2 plants, I still would believe that God’s guidance was beneficial.

Now the verses:
Deu 12:24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.

Deu 12:25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

I bought the plants both about the same size, and the next Sunday when I had the boys I told them about the idea, and they thought it would be fun.  The plants were cayenne pepper plants that had a maturity period of 70 days (or 10 weeks).  The boys chronicled the experiment on video, and here is what we did next...

For the next 2 weeks, we gave both plants water, BUT one of the plants we gave either turkey or chicken (hormone free) blood.  After just TWO WEEKS the plant that we gave the blood to started to bare fruit!  It was noticeably larger than the other plant too.

The boys and I were ecstatic!  To make a longer story shorter, over the next 2-3 weeks, the plant that we gave the blood to continued to grow and bare healthy fruit some of which we were able to even share with grandma!  The other plant appeared to still be following the maturity period that was included in the directions, and not only did it not bare any fruit, but it was much smaller than the blood enriched plant.

Being satisfied that our little experiment was a success, and that we proved GOD was indeed not arbitrary, after about 4 weeks, we decided to give the smaller plant blood too.  In about 1 week, it too began to bare fruit and grow.  Remember, these plants were not supposed to reach maturity for 10 weeks!

I know that people have a problem with old covenant guidance, but the reality is that without the old there could be no new.  Also, they tend to miss the fact that the law is still firmly in place (Mat 5:18) whether they believe they are under grace or not – GRACE IS UNDER THE LAW.

What I also learned is that God has foresight that we at times do not have.  The 2nd verse above talks about how keeping this commandment will go well with the parents and their children.  What did God mean by this?

Specifically as it relates to the increased fertility of the ground, I believe God meant that if you follow my guidance, it will not only benefit you today, but also it will help to establish an inheritance for your children, and since the children of Israel were farmers, I know that he meant harvest yield and land quality.  This by the way was also the way Israel gave God tithes via the Levites.  Isn’t that just like the Father?

We not only proved that there is life in the blood, BUT also in God’s word!

Unleavened Bread?
Table Of Contents

Have You Ever Had Unleavened Bread?  If not, you should try it... It is the same bread (without yeast or leaven) that Yeshua/Jesus ate with the disciples at the last supper.

The Israelites only placed the blood of the lamb on the door posts. This is symbolic of saints' parameters... You have to stay covered by Grace so that the angel of death or the "whole" law can pass over you...
