Serves as primary service offering that is designed to help fund all other oferrings. Its
focus is on providing access to financial relief to distressed
homeowners and financial education to the public at large.
This is one of the only service options where normal service fees are charged to clients. This is set-up this way because if a client needs only free services to save their home, it is probably because they cannot afford the home.
NE Economy clients have the opportunity to help fund and support others while they fight to keep their home. So as we give to them, they also are giving to help others. As the early church used land and homes to fund their work, so too does NE use homes to fund its efforts.
Act 4:34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold
Act 4:35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
New Earth's
Economy's initial focus will be on helping homeowners improve
their present mortgage situation (i.e., helping homeowners to
prevent foreclosure or from losing possession of their home, reducing monthly payments, or helping to
investigate predatory loans, or other lending infractions).
In March
2009, the foundation launched the Free
Mortgage Audit online application which provides homeowners
with a preliminary view about potential lending infractions that may
have occurred during their mortgage transaction. Forensic Mortgage
Audits are designed to identify violations that your
lender may have made as it relates to the contractual agreement between
you and them.
Additionally,
educational material (i.e., brochures, multi-media, etc.) will be
provided. Nothing is required to
receive the educational materials. Individuals seeking
housing assistance and foreclosure prevention support will:
-Bring
supporting documentation of assets and income. A qualified assessment
will be completed to determine shortfall.
-Depending on
the outcome of the assessment, an appropriate solution will be offered
to the distressed homeowner.
New
Earth Economy will:
-Provide
housing relief to distressed homeowners who are loosing their homes to
foreclosure or have already experienced a sale at auction due to wrongful/unfair or illegal actions by the lender.
-Help to Fund all other NE Charities.
- Advocate a
simpler way of life that encourages cooperation.
Intends to
develop or fund the development of an apparatus that will significantly
improve fuel economy for motor vehicles. Also, a special
grant will be available to any inventor who can retrofit
a car to emit
zero emissions at an affordable price.
Certified
mechanics, mechanical engineers, and other volunteers will be helping
to facilitate most of the research and development
activities. Exploratory R&D will begin with a 1997
Mercury Mountaineer. The foundation president will
be leading
this effort. Also, applications from aspiring inventors for
grant money will be reviewed by certified mechanics and mechanical
engineers. Also, plan to seek assistance from Academia.
Developing
a machine that will enable existing modes of transportation to run on
affordable alternative fuels. Working with others to develop sustainable and measurable solutions to
various other environmental issues.
Goal is to
educate the general population on sound health/nutritional practices,
and significantly reduce the instances of self-imposed
illness. Also, will look to assist the disadvantaged with
health care costs. And finally, identify or initiate medical research & solutions
that focus on natural remedies.
The
activities goal is to influence public policy to place greater emphasis
on sound nutritional practices, influence medical schools/practicing
doctors to place more emphasis on natural cures and herbal medicine,
increase research spending and to help bridge the gap for the number of
patients that are not able to afford adequate medical
treatment.
Goal is to
provide a place where disadvantaged people can come and get
nutritionally rich foods for them and their families free of charge or
at a reduced rate. Many foods will be organically grown or
free of unnatural and potentially harmful chemicals. The bank
would also service as a wholesale center to other food
pantries/distribution centers.
Organization will target local
organic/natural grocers, organic/natural foods farmers, and major food
chains with organic product lines.
The
activities goal is to influence public policy to place greater emphasis
on organic farming and thereby increase the availability of organically
grown foods in mainstream distribution channels, and to help increase
public awareness of the health benefits of organic/natural foods.
Significant resources are planned to be allocated to Organic
farming and permaculture. Additionally, experiments with
advanced water systems, animal blood fertization methods, and alternative technology will be
explored.
